The monkey's disgrace

Three monkeys sat in a coconut tree, discussing things as they are said to be.

Said one to the others "now listen you two there's a rumor around that can't be true.

That man descended from our noble race, the very idea is a great disgrace.

No monkey has ever deserted his wife,

Staved his babies, and ruined her life.

And you've never known a mother monk to leave her babies

With others to bunk, or pass from one on to another.

Till they scarcely know who is their mother.

Here's another thing a monkey would not do.

Go out and get in a stew or use a gun, a club or a knife and take some other monkey's life.

Yes, man descended the ornery cuss but brother I tell you he's not descended from us.

i've been gone so long, i've even missed myself.

a true indication that i sometimes mind surf  and wipe out.

i'm usually writing around 9pm. at my night job helps me stay alert, in between my rounds.

then i can't sleep,on my two hour breaks

however i discovered a great idea for those that can't sleep, or get little rest.

it may be because you are just doing too much,

                                     TAKE A VACATION!!! at home in your bedroom !

YES! i mean actually take time off of you're many jobs, get rid of your cell, pack in some snacks, books, puzzles, nighties, music,>>>>>>>>>>> NO T.V<<<<<<<.

put the lock on the door and camp out for a couple of days at a time...take a break to restock.... and go it again.

after a seven day vacation 2 two day lock ins and 1 one day  and i am golden.

rejoined the world yesterday, got back to the grind stone today and so far so good.

it has truly saved my life.

after a week work schedule that looks like this.

 this covers three jobs, but no home life.

MON. 7am-4  4.30-10

TUE. 7am-4  4.30-8 8.30- 12 mid(12h over night shift)

WED (12 mid-8.30 am) 9am-4pm 4.30-8pm 8.30-12mid

THURS(12mid-8.30am) 9am-4pm 4.30-8pm 8.30-12mid

FRI(12mid-8.30am) 9am-4pm 4.30-11.30pm

SAT 9.30am-11.30pm

Sun 9.30am-8pm (REST)

Dear Mr. Fix-it

Can you fix my brokens?

I've been malfunctioning for some time now and have had a few tests ran.

Each service call has gotten me nowhere and house calls just cost to much money, with little or no results.

I was hoping you can do diagnosis over the net, so that I might try some Do-it-yourself.

My first problem is I.ve had a brain fart  some time ago and I just don't know what to do with the air bubbles it has left. They often cause me to do some real air-headed things.

Then there is the leak in my eye that I sometimes just can not get to stop.

And God knows the leash on my tongue and the latch on my lips just both seems to malfunction at the same time everytime, especially when that little light flickers inside my head (and it just wouldn't stay on long enough for me to see before I say).

Not to mention the tick of my tongue and the clearing of my throat whenever I disagree.

Oh and the pain in my heart for fear of likes and dislikes of other people that I know I should just ignore but i can't.

Plus there is the click in my bones whenever I stand.

I know that these things can't possible all be related but for some reason they always seen to act or react with out my approval. Like Attitude has just taken over.

The end... Sincerely my body.

p.s/ Oh and sometime my feet stomps, my eyes and neck rolls, and my hands fly on my hips whenever someone confronts me.

Rumor has it that if you keep your mouth shut,

you can not spread rumors.

 I have a restaurant and in my day to day passing I do an inventory of the skills I gain and maintain in dealing with the partons.

First I need to tell you that I once (Thank god) suffered from a very bad case of depression.  I had a hard time going place , see and talking to people, and just old plain participating in life.

Increasingly I improved greatly, and am aware of the loss of social skills, patience and tolerants I can have with people. So this restaurant has been a great therapy as well.

So each time I successfully deal with a difficult parton I mentally document my accomplishment.

This is not to say that most times when a person orders a meal and while waiting for it to be prepared ( we cook most meats to order) prep cooking side orders daily. 10-15 minutes later ask if I mind if they change from a pork chop dinner to a fried chicken dinner, I don't want to run out of there screaming. But I have successfully learned to so. No that would be just fine, it'll just take a few more minutes. 

I can now take a order change, serve their meal, ring them up, say my standard "Thank you " have a good evening, and not hold a grudge the next four times they come in and make a difficult order, change in the middle of my cooking it and so on. 

I am EXCEPTIONAL!!!

I had a little problem i was hoping someone out there could help me out with.

It seems as if i can only receive comments from the Shoutpost community. Is this the norn, or is there something wrong and could some wise soul out there help a sister out.

I was thinking that if someone found my site on a search engine would they be able to interact with me as well via comments.

Today Paris arrived a day early to start her much reduce sentence for yet a nothing one of her great screw-ups. ( good girl) after spending the night partying ( not to worry  hopefully she was not drinking and driving as we all know what she will be serving time for).  But it will not be a wasted day, or 23 days. Because in the next 23 days she will be spending her time writing about her favorite thing HERSELF. Unlike the other millions of men, women and children, Yes children that are spending time. Picking up trash on the high ways and by-ways of this "great fair country" ( and believe me these are the good jobs that people are hoping to get) i'm sure that because her heart beat gold colored blood rather then the boring old red color that the rest of ours beat, she will get to eat what she want, when she wants. lights out for her will be when? 

I bet at least once in the next twenty-three days she will get some special consideration that will never be given to any one of the thousands of young men and women under the age of 16 that is serving time for the MISTAKES they've made.  Sure with a lot more money their great screw-ups could be just little mistakes as well.

Did someone say the rich will inherit the earth?... why not they will inherit everything else.

One day i asked God.. my i have a piece of the pie? a couple of days later while out to lunch an error in my meal resulted in me getting a free slice of Dutch Apple pie. imagine Dutch apple pie v/s American Apple pie. 

 I then prayed Dear god.. although you did answered my prayer, that was not what i was asking about. How do i ask you for this without getting apple pie, ( a stupid question got me a stupid answer) i.e "No answer at all" .

Either Dutch or American. Whats the diffrents you say? Hell if i know. but what i do know is that niether one of them ( Dutch or American) apple pie, got me a home or a car, it didn;'t make it possible for me to buy what i wanted when i want it.

So after much soul searching i came to the the conclusion that i needed to work this out for my self.. that after all my pray was answered. so i went on with life working hard and got somewhat of a piece of the pie. it was not sweet, it was tough, and not quite the flavor i wanted. It's been a long haul... Next time i'll be careful what i ask for. and be more specific.

Dear God, can you give me (for free, no hard work) the following items

1) peace of mind

2) a home, with no leaks in the roof

3)a car that works ... well  

4) a easy job... that pays good...real good.

5) a open invite to ask for more

 As i have started sharing words to the wise  last evening. it was my intentions to seek world wisdom as well as share what little i know...

He who helps others helps himself ...he that can help himself can also help others.

What ever happened to "for love of man kind", an act of kindness, and humanity. Isn't it sad how self absorbed we are? How, if we can't personally benefit from it we can't be bothered. Most of us doesn't even know that feeling; when you laying in bed awake at night and you remember the smile of the lady that you helped up when she tripped, how she thanked you, may have even hugged you. It was really nothing, you just reacted, maybe without even thinking about it. But however it did leave you with a good feeling.

( check out the American Redcross First-aid video) It is a requirement every two years at my job. But every time i see it i'm more focused on the bond and relationship formed just because this young man stopped to help someone. His humbliness and her appreciation.

Wouldn't you like to feel like that more often?

It's not impossible. But it does take guts, and you will need a amount of humilitly. You see we are at a time where we can't trust and believe in others, and at a time where we can't even see ourselves offering random kindness, for fear of rejection or loss of pride.

Remember Pay it foreward ? The movie 

Well i remember for sometime after i watch that movie i just wanted to help everybody and thought i was so great. oh no, no, no i was being selfish. I wanted to help others so that i could feel good about it not so that someone got help from me.

I said all of this to say this. Ramdom act of kinds are just what they are said to be RANDOM! not in the fact that you randomly help someone. but that you do what randomly come to you.

The secert to Sweet Tea is... well it's a secert but try this.

use your choice of Tea bags or leaves (mines is Lipton bags) no perking, no machines, the ole fashion way is the best,  a sauce pan or larger pot... o.k or a Tea kettle (i like the sauce pan ) add your tea bags/leaves  6-8 will make a gallon, to a gallon of water bring to a boil, then add 1-1 1/2 cups of sugar, then let boilon low for about 5  more minutes. it is ready to drink hot, for iced tea refridgerate then add ice. for fastier ice tea just keep adding ice until it's cold.

this beats store brought or powdered teas any day.

o.k the secert is to let it boil with the sugar in it, not to add the sugar after.

i spend most of my time perplexed... constantly trying to figure my self out. So here i go today again. i put my foot in my mouth and when it came out i had to figure out what i learned from it. however once i got the message i don't know if i decoded it corrected. the message is as follows.

war is a selfish act fought

by unselfish soldiers.

an act of violence and

prejudices, it is destructive

to the masses as well as

and the culture.

but war is far more destructive

to the future.

only the young and the poor

are at risk.

they are the dispensable.

the minorities have no say

they are exposed without delay.

the rulers, the leaders ,the starters of the wars

and their love ones

sit around safely behind  locked doors.

armed guards to protect them.
